These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and AST Coding (“we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of the Zerva mobile application (“Zerva”, “the app”). By downloading, installing, or using Zerva, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Entertainment Purposes Only

Zerva provides tarot readings, interpretations, and reader conversations for entertainment, inspiration, and self-reflection only. Readings are not predictions of fact and make no claim of accuracy about past, present, or future events.

Zerva is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the app. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services immediately.

You are solely responsible for any decision you make or action you take based on content in Zerva.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Zerva and to purchase a subscription. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. AI-Generated Content

Card interpretations and reader replies are generated by artificial intelligence, not by a human reader or advisor. Reader personas (such as Mira, Raven, Selene, Lyra, and Orion) are fictional characters, not real people, and do not possess psychic, medical, or professional expertise.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. We apply safety measures and content guardrails, but we cannot guarantee that generated content will always be appropriate. If you receive content you find offensive or inappropriate, please report it from within the app so we can review it, or email us at the address below.

4. Your Account and Content

Zerva uses anonymous authentication; no email address or password is required. Your readings, preferences, and chats are stored under a random anonymous identifier. You are responsible for the questions and messages you submit. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use Zerva for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
Attempt to bypass safety guardrails, extract system prompts, or manipulate the AI into producing prohibited content;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, our servers, or our APIs;
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit readings, card artwork, or other content from the app;
Present Zerva’s output to others as professional advice or as a factual prediction.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Zerva offers a free tier with limited daily readings, and Zerva Premium, an auto-renewing subscription available on a weekly or annual basis that unlocks unlimited readings, all spreads, and reader chat.

The price and billing period are shown clearly before purchase. Where a free trial is offered, its length and the amount charged afterwards are shown on the same screen.
Payment is charged to your Google Play account or Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time under Google Play › Subscriptions or Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from (Google Play or Apple), under that store’s refund policy. We cannot issue store refunds directly.

7. Intellectual Property

Zerva, its name, logo, the original 78-card deck artwork, reader personas, written content, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Readings generated for you are yours to keep and share personally; the underlying artwork and app content remain ours.

8. Availability and Changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Zerva depends on third-party services (including cloud hosting and AI providers) and may be temporarily unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Termination

You may stop using Zerva at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or our services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Zerva is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions you make based on app content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change, and continued use of Zerva after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. App Stores

You download Zerva from Google Play or the Apple App Store. These Terms are an agreement between you and us only — the stores are not a party to them.

Neither Google nor Apple is responsible for Zerva, its content, or its support. All support requests go to us at the address below.
Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from, including its payment, refund, and subscription rules.
If Zerva fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a user of the iOS version.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
